Privacy statement
We only ask for the details we need to arrange an appointment and look after your dog well. This page explains what we do with them.
Who we are
Trimsalon Ody is responsible for processing your personal data and is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 89498496. Questions about privacy? Contact Juul at info@trimsalonody.com or 06 300 534 66.
What we collect
- Through the calendar on the contact page: the details you enter in Calendly to reserve a time, such as your name, email address and anything you add yourself.
- Through WhatsApp, phone or email: the details you share with us there.
- For the appointment: your address, because we come to your home.
- About your dog: coat, character and health, as far as needed for a safe and comfortable groom.
- For our accounts: your name, the date, the treatment and the amount.
What we use it for
- Answering your request, planning the appointment and tailoring the groom to your dog. This is needed to prepare and carry out the appointment.
- Keeping our accounts, because the law requires it.
- Keeping the website working safely. This is our legitimate interest.
- Sharing photos of your dog, only with your permission.
We do not use your details for advertising and never sell them to anyone.
How long we keep your details

After these periods we delete the details, including from our email and WhatsApp. Would you like us to delete your details sooner? Let us know. We will then only keep what the law requires us to keep.
Photos of your dog
We like to show real photos of our work on the website and Instagram. We only post a photo of your dog with your permission, and we never mention your name or address with it. You can withdraw your permission at any time, and we will take the photo down.
Who we share details with
We only share your details where that is necessary:
- Elli, when she carries out the groom: your name, address, phone number and the information about your dog.
- Our hosting provider Vimexx, where the website runs, and our email provider, which delivers your request to our mailbox.
- WhatsApp, if you message us there. WhatsApp’s own privacy terms also apply.
- Calendly, the calendar on our contact page. If you pick a time there, Calendly processes your details on servers outside the EU. Calendly’s own privacy terms also apply.
- A bookkeeper or the Dutch tax authority, where our accounts require it.
We make agreements on careful and confidential handling with anyone who processes details on our behalf.
Cookies and other services
This website itself sets no cookies and uses no software to track or analyse visitors. The fonts are served from our own server, so your visit is not passed on to Google Fonts.
The Contact page does carry the Calendly calendar. Calendly loads it itself and it may set cookies; Calendly asks you to choose inside that window. From that moment Calendly’s privacy terms apply.
The How it works page includes a YouTube video. It only loads once you click play, through youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment YouTube’s privacy terms apply. Links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those services, where their own privacy terms apply.
Security
The website uses a secure connection (https) and does not store requests on the server. Our phones, mailbox and accounts are protected with a code or password.
Your rights
You can always ask us which details we hold about you, and have them corrected or deleted. You can also object to their use, have their use restricted, request a copy to pass on to someone else, or withdraw permission you gave earlier. Send your request to info@trimsalonody.com; we will respond within one month.
Not happy with how we handle your details? Please let us know first, so we can look for a solution together. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

If we update this privacy statement, the new version will be published on this page.
